Inspiring India is our space for stories that aren’t on most news pages — people whose journey teaches the rest of us something. If that sounds like you or someone you know, we’d love to hear from you.

What We’re Looking For

  • Real people, doing extraordinary things in ordinary circumstances;
  • Stories of grit — first-generation graduates, women in non-traditional fields, social entrepreneurs, artisans, athletes from small towns, change-makers;
  • Stories rooted in India — across every state, city, and language;
  • Personal accounts, family stories, community efforts, founder journeys, recovery stories;
  • Anything that genuinely inspires — we’ll judge editorially, not commercially.

What to Send

Email info@d2dnews.com with subject line “Inspiring India Submission” and include:

  1. Your name (and the subject’s name if you’re nominating someone else);
  2. Phone number for follow-up verification;
  3. City and State;
  4. The Story — 200–400 words, plainly written, in English or Hindi;
  5. 2–3 photographs (high resolution, taken with consent);
  6. Any supporting links — social profiles, press mentions, certificates.

Our Selection Process

  1. Acknowledgement within 5 working days of receiving your email.
  2. Editorial review by our Inspiring India desk — we look for verifiable detail, public interest, and storytelling potential.
  3. Verification call — we confirm key facts with the subject directly.
  4. Publication — selected stories are written or co-written by our reporters and published in the Inspiring India section.

Important Notes

  • We are an editorial publication. We do not charge for being featured, and we do not accept payment from those wishing to be featured.
  • By submitting, you confirm that you have consent from any subject mentioned and that photographs are yours to share.
  • Final editorial decisions rest with the d2d News editorial team. Submission does not guarantee publication.
  • Once published, the story becomes part of our archive — see our Terms of Service for the licence you grant us.
