These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User”, “you”) and D2D YouthStory Media Pvt. Ltd. (“d2d News”, “we”, “us”, “our”) governing your access to and use of the website d2dnews.com and any related services (collectively, the “Services”).

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, networks, or other users’ accounts;
  • Scrape, harvest, mine, or extract data from the Services through automated means without our prior written consent;
  • Impersonate any person, entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity;
  • Use the Services to send unsolicited communications (spam);
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Services;

You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to such content.

5.4 Copyright Infringement Claims (DMCA-style)

If you believe content on the Services infringes your copyright, please email info@d2dnews.com with the subject “Copyright Notice” and include:

  • A description of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed;
  • The URL of the infringing content on our Services;
  • Your contact details (name, address, telephone, email);
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is unauthorised;
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorised to act on behalf of the rights holder;
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, D2D YOUTHSTORY MEDIA PVT. LTD., ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICES.

Our total cumulative liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall not exceed INR 1,000.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless D2D YouthStory Media Pvt. Ltd., its directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, demands, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with: (a) your use of the Services; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party right; or (d) any content you submit to the Services.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, without notice, for any reason including but not limited to breach of these Terms. Upon termination, all provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive (including intellectual property, indemnity, limitation of liability) shall continue in full force and effect.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Patna, Bihar, India.

14. Dispute Resolution

Before initiating any legal proceeding, the parties shall attempt to resolve disputes in good faith through written correspondence with the Grievance Officer. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with the seat at Patna, Bihar.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect, and the invalid provision shall be replaced with a valid provision that most closely reflects the original intent.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies referenced, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Services and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
